"Dia De Los Muertos is one of Mexico’s traditional holidays reuniting and honoring beloved ancestors, family and friends. It is an ancient and enduring ritual when the living commune with the dead – a mystical night when the veil is lifted between their two realms and they may share a day together." And at the heart of this festive tradition are the colorful altares dedicated to those who have passed. 

This year The Wall Las Memorias Project invites you to join in on the tradition! We will be building an altar at the 15th Annual Hollywood Forever Dia de Los Muertos festival to those souls lost to HIV/AIDS. Help us celebrate by sending us a photograph of a loved one who has passed away from HIV/AIDS to be included in our altar. Photographs should be emailed to [email protected] no later than Thursday, October 30th. 

Then join us on Saturday, November 1st at Hollywood Forever for a day of music, laughter, and celebration! 

General Admission: $20 per person 
Children 8 years and under free until 4pm
Seniors 65 and over free until 4pm
