Eastside Talk Series | Outdoor Movie Night: "PRIDE"

The Wall Las Memorias Project continues its Eastside Talk Series summer programming Wednesday, June 17th with a special outdoor screening of the academy award nominated film, PRIDE-- the true story behind the "Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners" campaign of 1984!

This comedy/drama filled film depicts a group of lesbian and gay activists who raised money to help families affected by the British miners' strike in 1984, at the outset of what would become the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners campaign. We'll be bringing our union and labor friends from across Los Angeles County to participate & make this night of community, one to remember!

So bring your blankets and lawn chairs as we set up camp in our backyard & screen PRIDE on our large outdoor screen! FREE nachos, popcorn and refreshments, so come hungry!

This is a FREE community event, however an RSVP is required (see below).
