Northeast LA Community Health Forum

The The Wall Las Memorias Project invites community members from throughout the northeast community of Los Angeles to join us at the All Saints' Episcopal Church Hall for the Northeast LA Community Health Forum on Thursday, April 23rd at 7 p.m.

This free community health forum will include an update on the following health data: Updates on HIV/AIDS, LA County Prevention Strategy- PreP/PEP as prevention, Hep-C informational session and prevention methods, and a discussion on mental health and homelessness. The Wall Las Memorias Project has partnered with All Saints' Episcopal Church to bring education and resources aimed at building a healthier Northeast LA community.

The forum will include a panel of medical researchers and professionals that will answer questions regarding the health topics listed above. Panelists include: Aldo Macias (HIV Testing Counselor at TWLMP), Patrice Little (Community Health Educator at Ruane Medical & Liver Health Institute), Rebecca Prine (Housing and Homeless Services at Recycled Resources for The Homeless), Peter Uribe (Physician Resident at LAC/USC Medical Center), and more.

Through the generosity of the Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council, community members can enjoy free snacks and refreshments at this free community event.
