    BECOME A VOLUNTEER

The volunteer program at The Wall-Las Memorias seamlessly aligns the overarching vision of our initiatives with the dynamic needs of our community.

Our volunteers undergo comprehensive training in basic HIV education, gaining insight into the agency's history. Additionally, they embark on a guided tour of the AIDS monument and receive a thorough overview of the diverse programs, services, and special initiatives available at TWLM.

Beyond these foundational elements, volunteers are presented with exciting opportunities to actively engage with and contribute to local community and social justice issues that impact Los Angeles. These opportunities span diverse areas, including education, fundraising, community outreach, event organization, and the chance to represent the agency among special target populations.

Should you have any inquiries or wish to explore the enriching experience of volunteering with us, please don't hesitate to reach out at (323) 257-1056 Ext 28 or via email at [email protected]. We eagerly await the opportunity to connect with individuals passionate about making a positive impact in our community.

    SUBMIT A NAME

Thank you for choosing to submit your loved one to be part of the AIDS Monument.

The monument is a place where families can honor their loved ones and help bring awareness to others.  It is a symbol of the human spirit.  The memories of your loved one will help a community rise above the cultural silence of AIDS.

The Names Submission process is open to everyone. New names will be added on an annual basis with their unveiling during Noche De Las Memorias, a special ceremony on World AIDS Day, December 1st.

In celebration of the renovation of the Las Memorias AIDS Monument, we will waive the suggested donation price of $50.00. However, all in-kind donations are welcomed as they contribute to the financial sustainability of the organization in providing marginalized communities with free programs and services.
