Men's Group
The Men’s Group is one of the longest running program at The Wall-Las Memorias Project. It was created by founder Richard L. Zaldivar to empower gay and bisexual men to take a leadership role in living a healthy life through conversation, education and community engagement. This program provides an opportunity for men to engage in an intimate discussion on current men's issues and connect with other like-minded men.
Meetings are facilitated by The Wall Las Memorias staff members, who challenge and encourage participants to create community through empowerment and to find common understanding in culture, sexuality, peer education and brotherhood. Group activities outside of regular bi-monthly meetings are also part of the Men's Group program.
The Men's Group meets every Tuesday (excluding federal holidays) at 7:30 PM. Meetings take place at The Wall-Las Memorias Project office located at 5619 Monte Vista St., Los Angeles, CA 90042.
