Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis, City of Los Angeles Councilmember Gil Cedillo, The Wall Las Memorias (TWLM) Founder/Executive Director Richard Zaldivar and TWLM Board of Directors invite you to save the date for The Wall Las Memorias AIDS Monument Rededication Celebration on December 1, 2021.
Join us for an evening of festivities happening in and around the monument including live musical entertainment, testimonies, and special remarks with elected officials, community leaders, healthcare advocates, and high-profiled celebrities. Along with the rededication of the site, TWLM will also be unveiling more than 800 new names of loved ones lost to HIV/AIDS collected from our global community and engraved onto the monument.
SUBMIT A NAME
We invite community members at large to submit the names of loved one's lost to AIDS or HIV complications. New names will be engraved onto the name panels on the monument and revealed during the weekend celebration. The names submission process is currently free of cost and open to community members from throughout the country. We also invite you to submit photos and videos of your loved one's along with your names submission form for a future virtual project.
