CONFERENCES
The Wall Las Memorias (TWLM) signature conferences are the only one of their kind bringing together activists, community leaders, health specialists, elected officials, and the community at large. Conferences include plenary speakers and workshops on various health topics including HIV, mental health, substance abuse, and other emerging wellness issues using culturally competent language that the community understands.
Speakers from civic engagement, academia and public health participate by engaging and discussing recent trends that explore the obstacles faced by the LGBTQ and other under-served communities. The Wall Las Memorias has created these conferences in this critical time of need for the purpose of uplifting spirits. nourishing the soul. and educating from the heart.
